Hi Mike,
Yes I'm showing that Barnett had a brother named Pitts. That's also a name that got passed on over & over in the family line & sometimes there aren't middle names or initials showing which makes it hard to know if they were going by their 1st or middle name....something a lot of them often did, flip their names.

I also know that the Narcissa Beasley name got used in more than one family, but I DEFINATELY know some of the facts on our Narcissa Beasley, who by the way is your 1st cousin 5 times removed!

I don't have the Joseph Beasley who married a Narcissa in my files, but that's not to say that he couldn't have been related to our Beasleys. I don't know where our Narcissa (Beasley) Burnett died on Oct. 12, 1863 but her husband William Burnett died in Jan. 1855 in Rutherford Co. TN, which is also where they were married on July 25, 1853. So I would bet that she died there as well.

In May 2001 when my cousin in Tenn. & I went to the State Archives in Nashville, we found the marriage record for William & Narcissa in the Rutherford Co. books there.

Till later....
