Dyer and Byrd
Posted by: John Earle Dyer Date: October 20, 2000 at 11:10:53

I am attempting to establish or eliminate a connection
between my great grandfather John Fillmore Dyer of Mayfield, KY
and what could possibly be his father William Dyer of Tennessee.

John Fillmore Dyer was b May 18, 1855, location unknown, d
1909, Marston, MO, married Feb 13,
1879 in Williamson Co, TN to Sarah Frances Lula (Lulu) Byrd b
2/27/1860, location unknown, d 1937, Marston, MO.

William Dyer was b 9/14/1818 in Washington Co, Tn, m. Sarah
Jane Vaughn. He was in Williamson, TN as of census of 1850. He son
of John Dyer and Mary Barnes.

If any of this looks familiar, please let me know. Even though
William may not be an ancestor of mine, I know someone who is
researching him. Thanks in Advance for any assistance
you can furnish
