Marjorie,

Merriman Landrum Sr. could not have married your grandparents. He died on July 28, 1826 according to the inscription on his tombstone in the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery in Eagleville, Tenn. This was once in Williamson Co., but now I think it is part of Rutherford Co. Hope this helps.
