I'm not sure exactly what town you are interested in in Williamson County, but there is a fairly new book called, "Franklin, Tennessee's Handsomest Town" by James A. Crutchfield and Robert Holladay, which is very informative on Franklin, TN. It is published by Hillsboro Press in Franklin.
