I have been unable to actually connect this Elizabeth Briant/Bryant to my family. My gr-gr grandfather was John Armstrong (no middle name that I have ever run across). He married an Elizabeth in Williamson County, Tennessee before 1820 (based on bible records of children's birth dates). This Elizabeth was born in 1800 in Tennessee. The only marriage I have been able to locate was an Elizabeth Briant and John M Armstrong in 1812. This would have made her only 12 years old if this is my couple. I have been unable to locate any Briant/Bryant living in Williamson County, Tennessee during the time period of 1800 to 1830.
Because of the age thing and the middle initial of John in the marriage record, I have questioned that this couple is my couple.
Are your Bryants from Williamson County? Otherwise, it would be difficult to connect the families.
