Pumroy/Pumrey family in 1820,1830 Census, Williammson TN

We're looking for more information on the family members found in the 1820, 1830 US Censuses for Williamson County, Tennessee.
1820 - Franklin, Williamson, Tennessee. WILLIAM PUMROY.
1830 - ., Williamson, Tennessee THOMAS PUMREY.
Was WILLIAM the father of THOMAS? 1830 US Census has a household of 2
persons, ages 20-49.
1840 - Henderson, Tennessee has a THOS POMEROY and family.

If we have the correct family, we find THOMAS next in Perry, Tennessee, married to Margaret. That shows THOMAS born about 1804 in Georgia, and wife MARGARET born in Tennessee about 1800. Their children are listed as all being born in Tennessee.

Other records on Ancestry.com, and Family Trees have been helpful in giving clues, filling in some gaps. We're looking for additional information, including a record of the family in GEORGIA, to help us trace back their family line to their POMEROY immigrant ancestor to the USA.
