In your Kennedy family research, have you come across Cantrell Bethel Kennedy, born about 1826 in TN? There was a Methodist circuit riding minister in Middle TN in early 1800s named Cantrell Bethel. My C.B.K. was in Greene Co., Ark in 1840 and 1850. His father was a James Kennedy and I believe he was the James Kennedy in Weakley Co., TN in 1825- 1830s. Cantrell had a brother George, born 1832, living with Cantrell in 1850 in Greene Co., Ark. The Kennedys were all Methodists through my grandmother, born in Greene Co., in early 1900s.

Thanks,
Barbara
