Do you have a birthyear for your Lovey Davis?? Are you a Davis descendent??
I am hoping you can tell me about her parents?
There was an 1803 marriage in Davidson
Co., Tn. between John Davis and Sally Pace, Bondsman Henning Pace.
John Davis, seems to be related, to my Koen/Jackson family of Williamson and Davidson Cos. from late, 1780s>forward.
John Davis was probably part of the early Williamson Co., Davis family from
Pasquotank Co., North Carolina and he
may have been related to your Lovey
Davis. Miriam Davis was married to
caleb Koen in Pasquotank Co., NC abt. 1745, some of their children moved
to the Williamson Co., Tn. area.
I think Miriam Davis Koen may have been
an Aunt to many of the early Williamson
Co., Tn. Davis family members.
The names Pace and Page are very close,
is it possible they are the same surname,
spelled differently??
