Hi List members!!

I am new to this list, but would like to have your input on
J.R. Rupell, age 32, b. MS, in the 1870 census for Waynesboro, Civil Dist 7. His wife is RebecaJ., age 26 b. S.C. ; children John, Mary, William D., and Highram D.

I believe this may be the same family listed in the 1880 census for Lauderdale Co., AL, listed there as J.R. Ruple, age 46, b. 1834 in MS, wife, REbecca J., b. SC.

AI would greatly appreciate anyone who can confirm this is the same family or provide more information or records of this family in Wayne Co in the 1860-1880+ time period.
