I'm related to John Massengail & Margaret Broyles.
They lived in the county, tax rolls through 1819, but can't find them until Margaret Massingill shows-up in Jefferson County, TN, lists two daughters in house-hold. Margaret & daughters listed in the census through 1880, in Jefferson County.
I would love to make contact with anyone who has information for this family. Margaret could be living with her Broyles family if John died ca 1820, they are not found in the census' that I can find.
Any help appreciated. Still searching...
