Hi Sue - I don't know if you are still looking for this information or not, but I checked the Ancestry.com database of War of 1812 pension applicants and found a Stephen Marler alias Marlow who served as a private in Capt. Elijah Haynie's unit, Tennessee Militia, Survivor's Original #27129, Survivor's Certificate #18145. If you would like a copy of these documents, please e-mail me and I'll try to get them for you next time I'm at the National Archives.
