Has anyone studied the early (by 1830)Barnes families in Warren County TN? If so, do they all seem to be connected? Has it been determined where they came from? It appears NC is probably the state, but I'm wondering if Edgecombe is the county of origin. I believe my ancestor, Edward Barnes (b NC c 1760-70) was there in 1830; in AL by 1836. Also, does anyone know if their location in Warren County was near the Marion or Franklin County line; that is, southside Warren? I have a Barnes/Trussell marriage in Al 1836, and Trussells were in Marion TN; earlier in Franklin. Thanks for any help!
