My parents, grandparents, wife, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. are buried at Bascom Cemetery. The third Sat. in July is the day for the Vervilla picnic, when we gather together to raise money for upkeep of cemetery. We are trying to gather a history of the picnic, how long it has been going on, and any other history or highlights of picnic. I know my grandfather and some others donated the land for the cemetery, I know my dad and others helped clean land. but I don`t have specific dates. Hoping someone could help us with this. Thanks.
