Hello Daniel,
I haven't pursued this line, yet. My link is Elizabeth Martin who married Robert Thomas Grissom. My great grandfather was Albert Leroy Grissom. He married a Blackburn, Laura Etta, in 1880. And her brother , Morris Hathaway Blackburn, married two of his cousins, Sarah (Sallie) and Eva Jane Grissom. Albert's sister, married a Silus DRAKE. It is my understanding that Grissoms still live in that area and have reunions annually. My Grissom file doesn't have her father's name. Have looked for her listed with the family but have found several Elizabeths named Martin all about the same age. So, will look at her other children first to find the link. She had a daughter, Tennessee, born out of wedlock before she married R T Grissom. Had Alexander, James, Nancy Ann and Albert Leroy with Grissom. The family was in White County in 1880 census. Albert and Laura married that Dec.
