I am searching for info on my husbands family, I am told there is a Picture of his Great Great Grandfathers Family in a Unicoi County Geneaology Book, dont have the name of the book or anything, am hoping someone researching this line will see this and know what I am talking about. The name is Phillip Parks Tinker married to Anne Hessaltine Graham, son of Abraham Tinker (I am told) I am at a standstill and have been for several years, trying to link my husbands Native American Ancestry, am told Abraham Married Sara Steele which is 1/2 Cherokee, my husbands father stated very vehiminitley that he descended from Chief Blackhawk of the fox and sauk tribes, however I cannot find any linkage there, however I have found possible linkage to Sylvester Tinker of the Osage Descent. And now the Sara Steele Cherokee Linkage. Dont quite know how to proceed. Would appreciate any help. Thanks!
