Someone was kind enough to email me privately w the obit from the Erwin Record. In case anyone else is researching this line, here's the pertinent info from the obit:
Mrs. Lummie Davis Moore, formerly of Erwin, d in Phoenix, AZ (day given was "Thursday" but that doesn't add up to dod I found on cemetery records, which show July 9, 1962). Died of heart attack. Funeral held in TN at Boyd-DeArmond Funeral Home. Pastor of First Baptist Church officiating.
She was d/o William and Cassie (BOOTH) DAVIS. Widow of Wallace MOORE, who d 1952. She was Erwin native, but lived several years in Honduras in Central America. She evidently lived for a while in Phoenix, probably after her husband's death (or retirement).
Surviving, one daughter, Mrs. C. J. McKINNON (now deceased) of Ellicott City, MD; one sister, Mrs. Horace MARTIN (this is Mabel DAVIS, now deceased) of Erwin, TN; three grandchildren (names not listed).
