It seems that the Gibson Co. site co-ordinators have now put most of their info on the USGenWeb.org site. If you use this URL

www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/tn/gibson/gibson.html

that should take you to the site where records are. Just type in Boon, and it will pull up all records with the name Boon in the Gibson Co. archives. There is an 1837 guardian bond that lists the children (minor heirs) of Sion Boon. One of them was named Ratliff (also shown as Ratcliff in other records). Of course, I don't know if this was your Ratliff. Have you ever corresponded with a lady named Hollie Kees? She seems to have done a lot of research on Boon/Boones and, especially, some who ended up in Georgia at some point. You can probably just type her name into a search engine and find her.
