i find it absolutely appauling that your county has flooded out cemeteries for a resevoir here is the webpage

http://www.tngenweb.org/sullivan/cemetery/tva01.htm

i plan on visiting virginia this fall sometime and when i do i am going to try and meet with congressmen from virginia and the mayor of charlottesville and get some legislation enacted protecting cemeteries.i hope to come to sullivan county also because i have page family from sullivan county.i am looking for james robert page and his wife rebecca wheeler and their son william h.page born 1859.james was born 1832 he was born near batesville, virginia.his wife was born in north carolina.
james robert page was the son of william e.page and mildred f.suddarth page.
certain headstones were removed from one of our private family cemeteries in albemarle county, virginia without the family being notified.i am tired of people who think they can have imminant domain of a family cemetery and do what they like with it to me that is nothing short of cemetery desecration.why have a resevoir where cemeteries are to what end? i,m sorry but i find it absolutely appauling!
regards,carla jean page
descendant of the page family
