Thanks for the response. Pharaba Hatfield and Pharaba McDonald were actually two different people, although both were wives of Isaac Reed. Pharaba Hatfield was wife #1 and Pharaba McDonald was wife #2 (I know, how confusing is that??). I do have a fair amount of documentation already for Harrison Reed, younger son of Isaac's second marriage to Pharaba McDonald and brother of my Julian Reed. HOWEVER, I am very interested in your statement that Pharaba McDonald's first husband was Joel McDonald. I know there was a Joel McDonald in the household of Isaac and Pharaba McDonald Reed in 1850. That Joel was in his early twenties I think. I was never sure if this Joel was Pharaba's s son from an earlier marriage or a much younger brother or other relative. What documentation or evidence do you have of Pharaba's first marriage to a Joel McDonald? I would love to pursue this new information further if at all posssible. Anything at all might be helpful.
