I have a book of marriage records for Scott Co., TN. It says that, in January 1888, Wm Marcum married "Lucretia" Adkins. Is this an earlier marriage for the Lucretia Adkins who was a daughter of Wyatt and Rosina Chambers Adkins? That Lucretia Adkins later married William Adkins in Campbell Co., TN in 1894 but she did have earlier ties to Scott Co. OR is the name on this transcription a misprint? Should the name of William Marcum's bride actually be Lucinda Adkins? And, if so, who were her parents? I did locate a couple in the 1900 Scott Co., TN census named William and Lucinda Marcum who had been married 12 years. I need help sorting this out properly.
