Greetings Kim,
I finally made it to the burial site today. Was not able to gain entrance but we could clearly see the headstone standing amongst the clump of trees. Stopped at the first house as you suggested -- no one home. We also went to another farm adjacent to the backside/southside(?) of the property where the cemetery was. She was very familiar with the burial site though it's not on their property, and she was familiar with the Youree Cemetery also. From her I got the name and phone number for the lady that lives in the first house on McElroy Rd. (a.k.a. Sanford McElroy Rd.) next to the burial site so will try to contact her soon; but she is not the owner of the burial-site property. Do you want her name and phone number? If you do, e-mail me direct at . I was told the burial site is extremely hard to get to from any direction but it can be done.

Are you still planning to get up close for photos of the headstone? By the way, thank you so much for posting the photos that you got and telling me about them. I printed them out to take with us. That's the reason we were able spot the cemetery or we wouldn't have found it.

Are you in Smyrna, TN? I'm in Murfreesboro.
Happy trails,
LuAna Drake Craig
