Hi Kim, Do you still do look-ups for folks at the library? I'm searching for data related to the family of Daniel and Mary Alexander Nichols who moved to Rutherford County about 1810-1820. They were married 1790 in Kentucky. By the time they moved to Rutherford Co., they had a family already of some 7 or 8 children. I've found this family in the census records and have copies of several deeds involving Daniel Nichols. I suspect him to be my ggg-grandfather but have never found evidence sufficient to comfirm this relationship. This family resided in the Cripple Creek area of Rutherford County. I would like to find all that I can in hopes of making a connection to Daniel and Mary. To date, I have not been able to find a will or papers that might list family members. He deeded his property to his youngest son, Daniel B. Nichols. I have a copy of this deed. Unfortunately, Rutherford County Deed Book "T" is missing and that book contained a deed between Daniel and William Nichols that may have held clues much needed. This Nichols family was also connected to the families of Pace, Morris, Wherry, Connelly, and perhaps others in the area. Please remember these names as you peruse through materials related to Rutherford County. I would appreciate anything you could find. Thanks, Danny Nichols E-mail: mssc@heartoftn.net Notify Administrator about this message?
