Here is what I could find:
Abner Bishop married Sarah Forehand 9/20/1847 in Rutherford Co.(this from the Middle Tennessee Marriages book)
In the 1850 census(Versailles District) I found:
Abner 45 M Farmer KY
Sarah A 44 F TN
Sarah E 22 F KY
Lewis K 16 M Farmer KY
Wm A 14 M KY
Jno E 12 M KY
Rebeckah 9 F KY
Susan C 7 F KY
I also found in the same census
BISHOP Jas P 22 M Farmer KY
Mary 21 F TN
James J 2/12 M TN
I am not sure if this is the same James P Bishop as yours, as I also found a listing for James P Bishop married to Palina E Willis 12/12/1847 in Williamson Co. Did not see her name in 1850 census.
There were no BISHOP's in the 1860 census.
