thank you . it is good to hear from you as well - henry pate and mary dyer appear in the estate papers of my gggg grandfather - mary's father -isaiah robert dyer . i have recieved a copy of the papers that relate to him - i am the son of r.b. bush and penny middleton - she is the daughter of boyd middleton and ann wright - she is the daughter of
sherman e. wright and lucille marie dyer - lucille was the daughter of herman english dyer sr - he wast the tenth and youngest son of martha anna francis " puss " glenn and isaiah washington dyer - isaiah washington dyer was a brother to the mary who you are relation to she married of couse henry harrison pate - h.h. pate and his son show up in county deed books and the loose will books in papers related to - the father of mary and my isaiah washington dyer - isaiah robert dyer ( 20 may 1808 - richmond , va - 15 jan 1857 - rutherford county, va ) - isaiah owned a large amount of land in the twelveth district near eaglevale and rockvale. he is buried at dyer cemetery off dyer road - he was the son of john w. dyer and luvinnia/mevinnia " vinny " norton/morton - john w. dyer came from richmond to but land in the 1790's and settled in tennessee full time prior to 1830 . he is listed on the 1802 deed 1 of rutherford county - to form rutherford from williamson - his parents were isham dyer and martha vaden of chesterfield county, va - isham dyer lived on a plantation called " winterpoke " not too far from richmond - he was the son of another john dier - later dyer who came from england in 1657 - he came to chesterfield county ( then it was still henrico county ) virginia by boat and for his passage payed 650 acres to capt william randolph who is often called " the father of virginia " - the dyer family was active in the chesterfield(va) and rutherford(tn) county areas early on - i dont have the pate books you mention - is the dyer family mentioned ? - i have been in contact with some of the fairfields who live in that area - they come from the line of william robert dyer - older brother to your mary and my isiaih dyer - this willaim robert married mary elizabeth ducky mccord and is buried with his wife and two infant children at dyer cemtery - some of the mccords i am told stilllive in the rutherford and williamson county areas. - it is interesting to learn about the pate family as they show up in my dyer work .
i have been working on the dyer family for about ten years now . i have prob done a better job to document this family than than any i have ever researched -i will 25 next may and live just south of indianapolis . it was nice to hear from you - merry christmas . scott bush
