It seems that Jessee Jones was indeed living in another household in Rutherford CO,TN on the 1850 census. I looked on pg 267, in the Milton Dist., he is on line 18, age 19, profession given as farmer, he is the last person listed in that household underneath the name John Medlin. Here's the catch,I could barely make sense of the handwriting on that particular census. I enlisted the help of my mother who grew up in Rutherford CO. and is familar with many of the surnames of the area, however the best we can come up with is John S. Lacitr,age 47, as being head of household. His wife is Nancy,48, the children are: Malland,(female),21,Susan,18,Franklin,16,Louisa,16,Joseph,15,Martha,13,Virginia,12, (?)Faesononan,11, (?)Isabella,5. There is also a R. Oliver age 7 listed on the line above Isabella.
