George Tucker, b. 1826 TN
Posted by: Linda Date: June 28, 2001 at 13:34:12

Does anyone have info on these Rutherford Co. Tuckers:
James Tucker (in 1810 - 1850 census)
Enoch Tucker (in 1820, 1830 census)
Elijah Tucker (in 1820, 1830 census)
Samuel Tucker (in 1820 - 1850 census)
Kinchon Tucker (in 1830, 1850 census)
Matthew Tucker (in 1830 census)
Silas Tucker (in 1830 - 1850 census)

I'm trying to find possible parents for my g-g-grandfather, George M. Tucker (b. 1826 TN), who married Martha P. Swink (daughter of Michael Swink & Rebecca Bivens) in Rutherford Co. TN in Jan 1850. Then moved to Wilson Co. for the 1850 census. The census shows a Joseph Tucker, age 15, (making him b. ~1835) in the home with George & Martha. He must be a brother or cousin??? George died before 1860, so he's been hard to track.
HELP!
Thanks, Linda
