Holden/Rutherford Co. census 1830/40

Can someone out there tell me anything about the John Holden (DOB 1790-1800), or Jourden Holden (DOB 1790-1800) who are listed in the 1830 census for Rutherford Co.? How about Abel Holden (DOB 1790-1800) listed in the 1840 census for the same county? It is commonly believed among researchers that Dennis Holden 2 Feb. 1813 was the son of Joseph and Fannie (Douglas) Holden, because of discrepancies in certain dates I doubt this. But I can't find a connection as to who his parents were! HELP!!!!!
