Looking for the parents and family of this Zadock PHELPS: b: Abt. 1760 in TN or NC?, d: in Lawrence Co, IL,
.. +Ann * PHELPS, b: 1764 in TN or NC? m: 8-Oct-1789 Tyrell Co, NC Children: John PHELPS, Daniel PHELPS, Samuel PHELPS, Lodrick PHELPS, Nimrod PHELPS, Tod PHELPS, Frederick * PHELPS.
This Zadock had an uncle Zadock, who either could have been the Zadock Phelps who had a son Zadock who married Damaris Sanders 15 July 1835 in Rutherford, TN (IGI), or it could be another cousin. The Uncle Zadock moved back and forth from IL and TN. My Phelps stayed in IL. IGI also gives a Zadoc Phelps b c 1817 in Rutherford. Could be the one who married Damaris Sanders. This Phelps line is part of the one that was in Tyrell Co, NC-but I am having trouble connecting them all. Please help.
