I am searching for the parents of James Mason Davis. He was born in 1828 in Rutherford Co. according to his wife's pension application. I have had no luck with this man. I have tried to search the Census records for 1830 to find his parents, and there is several possiblities. I wish that I could give more information, but this is all that I know. I do know that he was suppose to have a brother that also fought with him during the Civil War. James was in the 31st Tenn Infantry, and his brother was suppose to be in the Calvary. PLEASE!!! I need some help with this man's family. I will gladly share all information with anyone that needs it.
