I am hoping to find people researching this man. Samuel Daughtrey/Daughtery/Daughtry. He was born about 1808 in TN, married Elizabeth Unknown b. abt 1808 NC. He was in Bedford 1820-1840m then to Shelby Co 1850 and up to Paducah, KY 1860 Children: William abt 1830 Frances Melinda, 1835 Dabney E. 1836 Jeremiah 1838 John H. 1839-1886 Malissy 1842 Jesse G. 1844-1882 (Great Great Grandfather) Benjamin 1845 Samuel 1848 The whole family moved to Paducah area. I am wanting to find the marriage of Samuel and Elizabeth and his parents. I am hoping to prove or disprove a Tyler Dauhgtrey as Samuel's father. Tyler b. abt 1764 NC, Wife Alice b. abt 1777 NC d. bet 1850-1860 Tyler is in Bedford census 1820-1830, then in Coffee Co 1840. 1850-1860 he is listed in Rutherford County. Then he is lost, presummed dead bef 1870.
