Can you give some kind of a time line here? I am also looking for proof of McCaslin family moving with a Hicks family also, My list of names would be William C Hicks b. NC.1828 ( all his kids b. in TN )and he marries Charity McCaslin I do have his eldest daughter "Lucinda" marring a Jack Hicks and Webster marring a Nancy Hicks from KY, I am not positive if Jack maried to Lucinda or William married to Charity or that Webster married to Nancy Hicks are of the same HICKS line, but I am positive the McCaslins are, I believe Webster was in Gallitin Ill about 1818 because it stated in area that Lucinda was born there. There is also a Bio about James McCaslin in Ark that states they was in Ill. and he even moved back up there. I have found Jack to be born in 1813 p.unknown and a Lewis Louis, M to be born in 1811 p.unknown. any help on this family moving from North Carolina, to TN and then to Ill. and then Booneville ARK and finally setteled down to creat a place called Hicks settlement would great be appreicated.
