Not related, just did some lookups for you
It would appear from the following records that a Benjamin Hancock might have been
Connected to a SARAH Hancock (mother???)
(see item 3, under “Abstracts of Records Books” section below).
Also, in Rutherford Co. TN, there was a FRANCIS Hancock who is connected to this Sarah Hancock, and a granddaughter of Sarah’s named Caroline Hancock Scales.
Francis Hancock was born in VA. See below.
Benjamin may also be connected to a ROBERT Hancock who was in Rutherford Co. from at least 1807 thru 1812

Who was the Bondsman and who were the witnesses????
