Norma, Ruth,Tn. is probably small town, not on the map now. The only way it could be RUTHerford county,TN.; they might abbreviated it, or very uneducated-or both. To really find out contacted your Postmaster at the U.S. Postal Office, he can find if it was any town in Tennessee that ever recieved mail under name Ruth,Tn./or contact Tenn. State Archives in Nashville-they can find it, if ever was one at all. Gerald Barnell Fowler
