I'm searching for the location of Short Cemetery in Roane Co., TN.
My g.g.Uncle Edom Braid Short [son of Willis Short & Nancy Kendrick] died 1904 at Hood's Landing, Roane Co.
According to www.roanetnheritage.com - Roane Co. Civil War Soldiers, Edom Braid was buried in Short Cemetery, Roane Co., TN.
Are there any available early newspapers for obituaries?
Are there tombstone listings for the Kendrick and Short Cemeteries?
Edom Braid m. #1-Susan Rucker with about six children;
m. #2-Sarah E. Stancill with about nine children.
Some of the female daughters married into DAUGHTERY, MOORE,
CALVIN, MORRIS, COOPER, and THOMAS families.
Some of the sons married into the WRIGHT and COOPER families.
Any SHORT and related family information is greatly appreciated.
