Looking for anyone with information about James Wilson who served in the North Carolina company commanded by Captain Benjamin Coleman during the Revolutionary War. On January 26, 1825, at the age of about 76, he applied in Roane County, TN for a Revolutionary War Pension. In the application it was stated “The declarant is by trade a Taller, but no having the means to establish himself, his trade does not assist him to contribute to the support of himself and wife his ability to work is moderate but as good as men generally of his age. His wife is about seventy years of age very frail very little able to contribute to the support of herself for her husband. The declarant lives with his son in law George Fuller Jr.”
