I know gr grandpa was married twicw so I am told. I also know that according to my Aunt that grandpa left home at about 13 because of a family matter and never returned so I believe that Hunes or Hustins marriage to Martha could be the second marriage, because in the 1900 census for Roane county Hustin or Hunes and Martha had 3 children listed, Tannie born abt 1875, Samie born abt 1882, George born abt 1883, and records I have on Grandpa Clint say he was born 1889 and I have one record thast says 1885. The census also says
Hunes Letner 45
Martha 49
it says they were married 6 years, 4 children 4 living.
I also believe the Lutner name as I know it could also be the same family as Letner. There are to many coincidences in both families.
The census also says for Hunes Letner, or Hustin Lutner parents were born in Tennessee. so I believe they have to be buried somewhere around there I know there are family in Lake city with the Lutner name and these are children of Grandpa Clints marriage to Mary Brumette. I live in Minneapolis Mn so I am not close to check all this out or be able to go there so any help I can get is most grateful.
