James MOORE married Jane REED in GREENE CO. TN. Apr.7, 1823.
In the 1850 Roane Co. Tn. Census I find 2 Jane Moore's living with other families. "Old Rockwood Cem." Rockwood there is a James Moore Listed, but no date given. This was an old cem. that covers 1 city block. Due to destruction of so many of the stones, all stones were removed, fenced in, and 1 large monument was erected and was dedicated May 30, 1966 and names placed on it. Florence Harvey compiled the names and dates April 1965. If I find more I will send it..Betty Pace
