I am trying to find info regarding my great-great grandfather - Berry H. Johnson. He married Delia (Cordelia)C.Fike (Munsey on Nov. 23, 1865 in Roane Co. The 1870 Census of Roane Co., Barnardsville - Post Office, listed the family, which included Berry - age 60, wife Delia, sons Reuben-age 13, Columbus(my grandfather)-age 4, daughter Parlee-age 11 and a Nancy Johnson-age 50. The family, without Berry, was listed in the McMinn Co. 1870 Census. So, I don't know if Berry died and was buried in Roane Co., McMinn Co. or Meigs Co. In 1836-37-38 Roane Co. reflected a Berry Johnson paid White Poll Tax in each of those years; but I do not know if this was my great-great-grandfather. Any information would be appreciated.
