Seeking info on John and Sarrah Ricketts w/ son Jefferson Davis b. 1862 in Perry Co.

John was supposedly in the Civil War (any guess which side since he named his child Jefferson Davis????:)...)
I have found a death cert in Wayne co for a Sarrah Ricketts in 1925..dau of Sam Hickerson - both born Perry Co, TN????

Any info would be appreciated.
