Mr. Bowman, I have to disagree with you. There is a book in the bookstores in Jamestown Virginia that relates this fact. Plus, if Chief Powhatten had a daughter that was being held captive, by the white Settlers in Jamestown, he would have destroyed the colony. It is only reasonable that the only reason he did not, is because he knew her origin and she was with the people of her origin. She even warned them before hand of an attempted attack by Powhatten. I don'nt know the Virginia Dare you mentioned but please send me the info of her mother and father. My email address is Walkingstick56@yahoo.com.
