JOSEPH born 1804 AND MARGARET SMITH b abt 1806
Posted by: Pat Stevens IV (ID *****2108) Date: July 16, 2010 at 09:31:56
  of 1003

There were apparently two Joseph Smith families in Monroe County in the 1840s/1850s. Mary Elizabeth Smith, daughter of one of the families married my ancestor Henry S. Marshall in 1849 in McMinn Co and eventually they were in Cooke Co., Texas, farming in the Red River country, arriving via Washington Co., Arkansas.

My data is at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=:2439862&id=I521686866

Any help at all would be appreciated! Pat Stevens pat@patmstevens.com
