1840 spelled the name CRUISE. He had 2 MALES UNDER 5 (1 would be DAVID), don't know the second one - do you? TWO MALES, 5 and under 10 (1 would be BENJAMIN), do you know the second one? ONE MALE, 15 and under 20, do you know this one? Then TOLIVER 20, under 30. There was 1 FEMALE 5 under 10 (ELIZABETH)and 1 FEMALE 20 und 30 (ELVIRA).
1850 spelled CRUOZE. There was TOLIVER & ALVIRA, both b:abt 1810, N.C., BENJAMIN 20, ELIZABETH 15, DAVID 12 (attended school), THOMAS 8, TOLIVER 7 and ABIRA (Alvira(?) 5 - all children b: TN..
Does anyone know anything about this family? They moved on to Hamilton Co. in 1860 (at least I THINK it is them) - the ages are all messed up and it says the parents born S.C.. BENJAMIN 30 is gone, ELIZABETH 25 is gone, DAVID 22 gone and THOMAS 18 - gone. Can someone who has more genealogy experience than I help me out or give me some leads? How do I find these missing children? I did find a listing stating that THOMAS & TOLIVER were in A Co., 5th. Calv. (spelled Cruse & Crews) and a BENJAMIN B Co., 10th. Calv. and a BENJAMIN K Co., 48th. (Nixons) Inf. but
for some reason am not able to acess the information - can you tell me how? Would there be a probate record there for Toliver/Elvira, this is the last place I found them?
