could anyone do a lookup for me to see if any records exist of marriages performed by LARKIN CARDEN. according to Goodspeed's History of Monroe county, Larkin was a Justice of the Peace for 26 yrs. i beleive he may have been the one to marry his brother, Reuben Carden and Rachel ? Reuben & Rachel are my 3rd ggrandparents.
Larkin was located in Polk about the same time as Reuben until after 1850 when there was a court case and a falling out about some land with his brother John.
Reuben and Rachel were born abt. 1805/10 so i figure they married about 1829/30, their first child, Sarah was born 1831.

any help would be appreciated......i'm not really sure Reuben and Rachel were married in Monroe co. , just taking a guess.

Elisa Sanford
