Hello Elisa

Have you seen the book, Monroe County, Tennessee Heritage 1819-1997? It has 4 large articles, plus pictures of the Cardin family in it. If you haven't seen it and would like to know what they say let me know and I'll email them to you. I haven't been as fortunate for my family located there, seems nobody has documented much on them...some of them anyway. My families from Monroe are Ellis (Rev. John Allen Ellis), Kilby, Rhea, Smalling, Cameron, just to name a few. The Spivey's were there too...but they left, but the Ellis side of my family remained there.

Let me know about whether you need the articles and pics.

Linda May
