Nancy-My ggrandfather was William Fletcher Burns. I have done some research in Mo. & Utah on the Burns' & Cagles'. Elida was married before Lucy Darrow Cagle-his & Susan's children were James T.& Joseph B.-Elida's & Lucy's were William F., John W.(his twin), & Adam W.(who died as a boy) my grandmother(William Fletcher's daughter) told me. John W. married Mary Jane Edington May 21, 1865 in Massas county, Il. & that's all I have on him. William F. ended up in Ks. where my mother was raised & I live. William F. died at Emporia & is buried at Milo cemetery at Barnard, Ks. the children of Jacob Cagle & Lucy Darrow were Matthew James Jackson Cagle(he is buried at South Haven, Ks.) he was on his way to Okla. where his son william Princeton Cagle had made the run when Okla. was opened up & ended up at blackwell, Ok. I've been over to the grave of Matthew-I live 25 mi. east of there. The 2nd child was Robert C. Cagle, then Margaret L. T. Cagle. She married Thomas bone the brother of Matthew's wife Rebecca(she is buried in Metropolis, Il(saw her grave.) All of the children in his will were from his first wife, Catherine. Best regards, Pearl
