Joshua is the son of George BIRDWELL of Sullivan County,Tenn. George and family were pioneer settlers there in about 1780. They moved there from Va.

It is speculated that George's wife was Mary Looney. Anybody have proof of this?

Please contact me if you have questions or wish to share some information.

Thanks!
