In 1850 Census, Isaac and Jane Northcut are in Hardin County Tenn.
Their daughter, Nancy Northcut Johnson and her two sons,
Lewis (age 11) and Isaac (age 7) are also listed. The young
Isaac is my g.g.grand father, Isaac Northcut Johnson
who later married Elizabeth Howard.

Elizabeth Howard is also listed in the 1850 Census as being in
Hardin County, age 3, the daughter of John and Lovica Howard.
Lovica's maiden name may have been Lamb.

The son of Isaac and Elizabeth, named James L Johnson, married
a Smith (Arkybelle, daughter of James Cicero Smith and Melissa
Elizabeth Smith (White) Smith.

Would like any information anyone has on Hardin County c 1850 and
would love to hear from anyone working on any of the above surnames.
