Might there be a John Ras Phillips in your line somewhere?
My grandfather J.R.Phillips (m. Harriet Lucetta Carmack
Dec 20, 1908) came from Tennessee back in about 1919 and
settled near Hooker, Oklahoma. I think he may have had a
brother named Walter. They were apparently from around
Livingston or Cookeville.
