I have a GGGrandfather, Elida BURNS, who I have not been able to link to any BURNS family line. I am curious to find out if you ever found out further information on John Williamson BURNS? My Elida BURNS was born in 1817 in TN somewhere. Parents are still unknown. Elida had the following children all born in TN; James T.? b.1840, Joseph B. b.1841, William F. and John W. (twins), b.1842 and an Adam b.1846. Elida apparently married twice. First, to a Susan Mitchell in 1838 who died in 1840. James and Joseph were from this marriage. He then married a Lucy (Darrow)Cagle in June,1841. Together, they had the remaining boys. Any help or leads will be so appreciated. Thankyou! Sincerely, David Burns Fircrest,WA
