This is a possibility from the 1840 McMinn Co. census:

R.B. Carr
Males: 1 (age 5-10), 2 (15-20), 1 (20-30), 1 (40-50)
Females: 1 (5-10), 1 (10-15), 1 (40-50)

There is also a Joseph Carr, but the youngest female in his household is age 10-15.

R.B. Carr is not listed in either the 1830 or 1850 McMinn Co. census; however there is a Bluford Carr, age 38 in 1860, which could be one of R.B.'s sons.
